III. Applications: caustic soda is a basic chemical raw material and is applied mainly to the following industries:
1. Fundamental chemical industry: e.g. metallic sodium preparation and products including sodium dichromate, manganese carbonate, sodium hydrosulfite and more.
2. Chemical pesticides industry: e.g. sodium pentachlorophenate, 1650, 1059, etc.
3. Pharmaceutical industry: e.g. sulfa drugs, mycillin, vitamin B and vitamin C, cod liver oil refining and more.
4. Petroleum industry: e.g. lubricating oil, washing diesel oil and more.
5. Metallurgical industry: e.g. steel making, electrolysis of bismuth and more.
6. Paper making and textile industry: e.g. letterpress paper making, printed and dyed fabrics and more.
7. Organic chemical industry: e.g. organic acid, organic fiber, organic resin and more.
IV. Packaging: special tankers or storage tanks, with “corrosive article” marks.
V. Storage and transportation: store and transport with tankers or storage tanks to prevent leakage; forbid the product from contacting various acids; prevent damage during transportation.
